Having never heard a Dream cymbal played live I was a little skeptical about buying one. Thanks to DCP I was able to obtain enough information to make a purchase without hesitation. I love the look and sound of this cymbal. It's got what I call a crisp sound. The unlathed bell is sharp and has a great tone. For me it was a great buy at a great price.

Very smooth, very sturdy. Not crazy about this particular "rug spike" system, though. Multiple actions are needed for what would otherwise be a couple of turns on a screw. All that said, the system works as well, or better than any other I've used at keeping the hi-hat from creeping away. It also features a wide pedal tension adjustment range and the bottom hat tilter is rock solid.
