This Tama STAR Maple bop kit includes an 18" × 14" bass drum, 12" × 8" rack tom, 14" × 14" floor tom, and 14" × 5.5" snare. Finished in Piano Black with inlay, the set features Tama’s flagship STAR construction, developed to combine maple’s bright, open character with the warmth and body associated with solid-ply shells. Drums only; hardware and cymbals are sold separately.

Each shell is 5 mm thick and built from five plies of maple, including a 2 mm solid wood core between cross-laminated plies, with 5 mm Sound Focus Rings. Rounded bearing edges, oil-finished maple interiors, and a resonance-minded mounting and hardware design contribute to the kit’s carefully considered construction.
