Part of Tama’s flagship STAR series, this 14" x 5.5" Maple snare drum features a Charcoal Brown Paraiso finish with inner and outer inlays. STAR Maple construction combines the bright, open character of maple with the warmth, body, and rich response associated with a solid-ply shell.

The thin, five-ply, 5mm shell has a 2mm solid wood core between cross-laminated plies and 5mm Sound Focus Rings. A rounded bearing-edge peak and die-cast zinc hoops support efficient shell contact, focused tone, and straightforward tuning. The interior and bearing edges receive a hand-applied oil finish.
