Tama Star Maple Snare Drum 14x6.5 Raspberry Curly Maple w/Outer Inlay

Tama STAR Maple Snare Drum – 14" x 6.5" Raspberry Curly Maple

Part of Tama’s flagship STAR series, this 14" x 6.5" snare combines the warm, open character of maple with the body and richness associated with solid-ply shells. Its 5mm, five-ply STAR Maple construction features a solid wood core between cross-laminated plies, with an additional outer curly maple ply for the Raspberry Curly Maple finish. 5mm Sound Focus Rings complete the shell design.

A rounded bearing-edge peak and carefully positioned contact point help transfer head vibration into the shell. Die-cast zinc hoops contribute a focused, projecting response and support consistent tuning, while Hold Tight washers use rubber-ring inserts to help keep tension rods from loosening as the drum vibrates.
